From Paycheck Panic to Financial Clarity
I used to panic about money. As a teacher of 16 years, I watched prices skyrocket while my salary barely budged. I felt hopeless like I'd never own a house, never go on a real vacation, never get ahead. It made me angry.
So I got strategic. I looked at where my money was actually going: groceries, subscriptions, mindless Amazon purchases. I made small tweaks that saved me over $500 every single month.
Now? My investment accounts get contributions twice a month. I'm saving for summer so I don't have to work a second job just to pay bills. My kids have investment accounts. We're building a vacation fund. I know exactly where my money is going, and I'm in control.
From Drowning in To-Do Lists to Having Actual Free Time
Between teaching for 16 years and now being a mom of almost two, the to-do lists felt never-ending. I was constantly underwater, always behind, always stressed.
So I developed a recurring to-do list system that keeps me focused and efficient every single day. The result? I never get to work early. I never stay late. I never work on weekends. I'm present for my children while completing all my responsibilities. I'm a highly effective teacher AND I have time for my husband, my friends, and myself.
It's not about working harder. It's about working smarter.
From Diet Culture Burnout to Sustainable Wellness
I used to think I needed to cut out my favorite foods, meal prep for hours every Sunday, and track every bite to feel good in my body. I used macro tracking to get into the best shape of my life for my wedding, and again postpartum after my first child all while eating pizza, breastfeeding, and surviving sleepless nights.
But here's what I learned: tracking isn't forever, and it's not for everyone.
Now I help women build sustainable wellness habits: nutrition, movement, sleep, hydration, stress management that support their energy, health, and confidence long-term. No obsessing. No restriction. Just realistic habits that actually fit into real life.
